Weekend Rates
Letting commences at 16:00 hrs on the Friday and terminates at 10:00
hrs on the Monday. Additional nights are charged at 1/3 the weekend
rate.
Weekly Rates
Letting commences at 16:00 hrs on day of arrival and terminates
at 10:00hrs on day of departure (up to seven nights, but excluding
the overlap of two weekends). Rates to include two weekends can
be quoted on request.
Reservation
You can make a reservation either by post, through our website (www.carlingfordaccommodation.com)
or over the telephone. Your reservation is complete once you have
received confirmation from Carlingford Accommodation in writing
(the 'Confirmation of Booking') and following receipt by Carlingford
Accommodation of your 25% deposit in cleared funds (see deposit
below). Carlingford Accommodation shall hold your provisional reservation
for seven days. If Carlingford Accommodation has not received your
completed and signed booking form with the deposit, within seven
days, it reserves the right to cancel the booking.
25% Deposit
A 25% deposit of the full tariff is required to secure booking and
is only refundable if four weeks notice of cancellation is received,
sorry no exceptions. The balance of the tariff must be paid one
week before date of arrival. Failure to pay the remaining balance
of the full tariff one week before date of arrival shall be treated
as a cancellation.
Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of €100.00 per property is payable
to cover any loss, damage or additional cleaning incurred other
than the normal, to the property or contents by you or any one you
permit access to the property. A charge of €10.00 will be deducted
from the security deposit for replacement of each key not returned
at time of departure. The refundable security deposit shall be held
until the end of the letting when it shall be refunded to you no
later than one week after departure subject to deductions for any
of the above. You will be notified by Carlingford Accommodation
of any additional costs over and above the amount of the security
deposit paid, which is to be paid by you within two weeks of date
of departure.
Methods of Payment
Carlingford Accommodation accepts Euro cheques, all major credit
cards (excluding American Express) or direct transfer into Carlingford
Accommodation’s bank account.
Personal Belongings
Carlingford Accommodation is not responsible for any lost or stolen
property.
Pets
Pets are welcome in certain properties provided they are house trained
and kept under control.
Your Obligations
You and all members of your party agree to the following conditions:
- To take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and
tidy condition at departure to the reasonable satisfaction of
Carlingford Accommodation;
- Not to exceed the total number of people agreed to in the booking
form;
- To ensure that all kitchen and barbecue equipment (including,
but not limited to, crockery, cutlery, and utensils) is washed
and put away in cupboards provided;
- Not to smoke inside the property;
- Where telephone or internet access is available at the property,
to pay for all charges incurred upon notification by Carlingford
Accommodation.
